I grew up in Maine. I attended College of the Atlantic, a 300-student college on Mount Desert Island, Maine, where I took my first graphic design course and became hooked. I graduated with a BA in Human Ecology with a GPA of 3.8. Human Ecology means making the relationship between humans and the environment a better one—a passion I hold close in my profession and life.

I hold an MFA in Design from the University of Texas in Austin with a 3.9 GPA. Since graduating in 2010, I started a graphic design freelance business, Magic in the Everyday. Along the way, I have worked with many businesses, nonprofits, design agencies, web development firms and clients in the environmental, healing, technology, design/build, publishing, food and arts professions.

In my spare time I enjoy remodeling houses with my husband, spending time with my family, working on creative projects like children's books, poetry and photomontages, and traveling. I also love to call attention to the beautiful and thought-provoking qualities in ordinary things. After living in Santa Fe, New Mexico for 12 years, I relocated to Asheville, North Carolina in 2021, where I am grateful to live with my husband, two daughters and cat.

I am also a real estate agent since 2023! I was just wrapping up my real estate training when I connected with LOVE Land and Home. I knew from the moment I saw the firm's logo and tagline, "Real Estate, with LOVE," and meeting the owner, Lacey Townsend, that I would receive one on one support in my training and share values of hard work, integrity, fun, care, creativity and commitment to clients. I absolutely love working with buyers to find their ideal or property or with sellers to stage, market and sell an existing one. I am dedicated, responsive, reliable, authentic, creative and kind and I look forward to working with you to make your dreams a reality!
